Tafsir of Surah Al-Baqara 2:101
﴿وَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مِّنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ مُصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ نَبَذَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَرَاءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ﴾
Translation of the meaning
And when a messenger from Allāh came to them confirming that which was with them, a party of those who had been given the Scripture threw the Scripture of Allāh [i.e., the Torah] behind their backs as if they did not know [what it contained].

كيف تجد تحته برهانا عظيما على صدقه وهو مجيء الرسول الثاني بما يطابق ما جاء به الرسول الأول ويصدقه مع تباعد زمانها وشهادة أعدائه وإقرارهم له بأنه لم يتلقه من بشر«بدائع الفوائد» 4/147والمقصود أن مطابقة ما جاء به لما أخبر به الرسول الأول من غير مواطأة ولا تشاعر ولا تلقي منه ولا ممن أخذ عنه دليل قاطع على صدق الرسولين معا.«بدائع الفوائد» 4/147
